Taking business permit letters and registration process took three days but it will be reduced to one day.
This was announced by Ghulam Mohammad Yalyaqi, Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry , in a session held on the occasion of counter corruption in that ministry.
The meeting was also attended by Mohammad Yasin Husmani, Head of High Office of Oversight & Anti Corruption Strategy (HOO). Mohammad Yalyaqi added that, they are seeking effective ways to simplify rules and root out corruption facilities inside the Ministry. "We have decided to simplify taking business permit letters, document registrations and the exported materials document process as simple as that it will take one day in the country. The process will not pave the ground to the people who take and give bribes in the Ministry."
Mohammad Yasin Husmani, Head of High Office of Oversight & Anti Corruption Strategy, said the anti-corruption strategy,created one year ago, illustrates countering corruption and its factors.
According to Yasin Husmani, simplifying the rules and shorten working process in governmental offices is one of the effective way to counter corruption as well as emphasized in counter anti-corruption strategy.
Mohammad Husmani appreciated from Ministry of Commerce and Industries for implementing counter anti-corruption strategy and asked other governmental offices to take such action.
He said: "I want to thank the Ministry of Commerce which has developed after Afghanistan London Conference and second phase of presidential elections launched in Afghanistan. I hope that their goodwill will give positive results."
According to the statements of Yalyaqi, they have also assessed international and local special investment law to reform laws and will be presented to the Ministers council for approval.
Also, hoarding and monopoly law will be sent to the Justice Ministry for processing. Yalyaqi also reported on the changes in the structure of Commerce Ministry.
According to him, they have planned to omit some departments and will include new departments in the structure of the Ministry to root out corruption.
