The officials of 201 Seelab and 203 Tander ANA Corps say that ANA officers are responsible to launch and plan military operations accompanied by coalition forces.
Brigadier General, Mohammad Akbar Ultaj, Deputy Commander to 201 Seelab and Brigade General, Yar Mohammad, Deputy Commander to 203 Tander ANA Corps in press conference said that good coordination between ANA and coalition forces have been created since the beginning of the current year and ANA training process is going better.Mohammad Akbar Ultaj said, "A coordinating center named OCCR has been established in order to have good coordination among ANSF and international forces. The center collects reports and assesses the facts." At the same time, Yar Mohammad said that ANA is now capable to launch military operations.
ANA has conducted many massive and small operations in insecure provinces and left heavy causalities to the enemies. "We have conducted ten planned operations led by 203 Tander Corps in insecure Provinces. ANA officers in 203 Tander Corps is now capable to lead all combat operations with the help of international forces. During the operations 894 enemies have been killed and 157 were wounded."
The officials of 201 and 203 ANA Corps say that military planning's and leadership by ANA personnel have resulted positive in reducing enemies in Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Nangarhar, Laghman, Nuristan, Kunar, Logar, Maidan Wardak and Kapisa Province.
At the same time, Col. Klerinse Cown, Spokesperson to Coalition force in East Zone, apologized to the people harmed during the operations and said that efforts are ongoing to reduce civilian causalities and inform people before they conduct operations.
He said: "There was never any intend to cause civilian causalities. We apologize when such actions take place. Enemies harm people five times more than our forces in Afghanistan based on the information and reports. We are doing our best efforts to reduce threats against civilians."
According to the deputies of both 201 and 203 ANA Corps, they have provided over thousand development projects worth over 100 Million USD to the people besides ensuring security.
