Nesar Ahmad Bahawi, Afghan Taekwondo champion is taking preparation for international Olympic competitions that will be launched in UK on 2012 after succeeding in Asian competition launched in China.
Nesar Ahmad Bahawi had achieved many victories in several international competitions. He became well-known at a time that he defeated an Iranian taekwondo champion. He said: “I have become successful with the help of people and their encouragement.” Bahawi started Taekwondo exercise when he was ten years old.
He has four brother and four sisters. Mervies one of his brothers is also accompanying him with this exercise. He has participated in more than 100 competitions and has achieved 12 gold medals. He is also introduced as best athlete. In addition to his daily exercise he provides taekwondo trainings to other youths.
He said: “I invite all drug addicts toward sport in order to bring honor to their country.” One of the other wishes of Afghan Olympic committee is to encourage afghan athletes in order to bring honor to Afghanistan.
