The National Procurement Commission (NPC) has approved six contracts worth 354 million afghanis, the Presidential Palace said on Monday.
The NPC that met on Sunday night with President Ashraf Ghani in the chair approved the contracts, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
It said the contracts approved belonged to some ministries and departments and that some other contracts were delayed technical issues until the next meeting.
The statement said 75 million afghanis were saved in the Defence Ministry’s contracts with total worth 354 million afghanis. One contract of the Administrative Affairs Department was canceled.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah, Finance Minister Eklil Hakimi and other officials were present on the occasion.
