BathijaNew Afghan Ambassador to Canada Sham Lall Bathija on Tuesday presented his letters of credence to Canadian Governor General David Johnston at a ceremony in Rideau Hall, Ottawa.

At a meeting that followed the official ceremony, Bathija conveyed to the governor general the best wishes of President Hamid Karzai and hoped for further strengthening relations between the two countries.
