On Monday Wais Ahmad Barmak – Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) – inaugurated a 21 meter long bridge NABDP project with supported by Japanese Government with the total budget of US Dollars 1,53,919 in Taghma Sang Village of Salang District.
Barmak – Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) stated that Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development reaffirms its commitment towards the new establishment and construction of physical infrastructure in villages all over the country as their prime responsibility. He further wishes that with the construction of this bridge, the local community would be highly benefited to have better transport facilities. Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development mentioned that investment in rural infrastructure, social development and their sustainability would be the part of the upcoming programmes of MRRD.
Mr. Abdul Basir Salangi, the Provincial Governor of Parwan province, noted in his inauguration speech that “Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has been remarkable in the past many years addressing communities’ needs, resolving them through implementation of infrastructural projects in different villages of Parwan province and their activities are prominent and appreciated.
In the follow up of the main goals of MRRD, NABDP works for development of rural communities in villages and districts of this province and has worked 92 different projects in different sectors are implemented and handed over with total budget of 4,220,122 USD.
