Key Taliban Commander Killed in Kunduz: MoI



Mullah Khair Mohammad, a key Taliban commander and 13 other insurgents were killed in fresh fighting in northern Kunduz province on Tuesday, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a statement.

The clash took place in Qala-e-Zal district of the province during a military operation to clear the area of insurgents, according to the statement.However, the statement did not provide further details about the operation.On Monday, Haqyar, another key Taliban commander and seven insurgents were killed in clashes with security forces in Qala-e-Zal.In addition, four other insurgents were injured in the clash.The commander and his fighters were killed after they started clashes with security forces.
