At a cost of eight million and 200 thousand Afs eleven development projects were recently completed in Shahristan and Gujran districts of Daykundi province by the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (NSP/MRRD).
These projects include: construction of a water supply network, retaining wall 168-m in length, excavation of seven safe drinking water wells, construction of tertiary road 340 meters in length and excavation of streams.
Approximately, 3000 rural people have benefitted the facilities of these development projects. Si
nce its inception, the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has covered 750 villages in Daykundi province. So far, nearly 1649 projects have been completed in various sectors and 486 development projects are ongoing in Daykundi province.
